저는 꽃과 동물을 주제로 작업하고 있습니다.

꽃은 아름다운 색과 향기로 사람들의 마음을 밝게 만들어 줍니다. 자연 속에서 피고 지는 꽃을 보며, 저는 꽃이 우리에게 주어진 소중한 선물과 같은 존재라고 생각합니다. 꽃은 바라보는 것만으로도 기분 좋은 감정을 전하고, 일상 속 작은 행복을 떠올리게 합니다.

동물 또한 인간에게 조건 없는 사랑과 위로를 건네는 존재입니다. 순수한 시선과 사랑스러운 모습은 사람들의 마음을 따뜻하게 만들고, 때로는 말보다 더 큰 위로를 전해주기도 합니다.

저는 꽃과 동물이 가진 이러한 아름다움과 따뜻한 감정을 그림에 담고 있습니다. 단순히 대상을 재현하는 것이 아니라, 그 안에서 느껴지는 감정과 순간들을 기록하고 싶습니다.

현재는 유화를 중심으로 작업하고 있지만, 앞으로는 다양한 재료와 표현 방식을 탐구하며 보다 풍부한 시선과 이야기를 작품에 담아내고자 합니다.

바쁜 일상 속에서 제 작품을 마주하는 시간이 잠시 쉬어갈 수 있는 시간이 되었으면 합니다. 꽃을 보면 기분이 좋아지고, 동물을 보면 자연스럽게 미소가 지어지듯, 제 그림 또한 누군가의 하루를 조금 더 따뜻하게 만들어 주는 존재가 되기를 바랍니다.

Hello, I am Eunwoo Lee, a contemporary artist based in South Korea.

My work is inspired by flowers and animals—subjects that bring warmth, comfort, and moments of happiness to everyday life.

Flowers have a unique ability to brighten our mood through their beauty, color, and fragrance. Watching them bloom and fade in nature reminds me that they are among life's most precious gifts. Even a brief encounter with a flower can bring a sense of joy and appreciation for the present moment.

Animals hold a special place in my work as well. Their unconditional affection, innocence, and gentle presence often communicate emotions that words cannot. They remind us of the simple yet meaningful connections that enrich our lives.

Through my paintings, I seek to capture these moments of warmth and tenderness. Rather than simply depicting flowers or animals, I hope to preserve the feelings they evoke and the memories they create.

While oil painting is currently my primary medium, I continue to explore new materials and methods of expression in order to expand the stories and emotions within my work.

I hope my paintings offer viewers a brief pause from the demands of everyday life—a moment to slow down, smile, and reconnect with the simple joys that surround us. Just as flowers can brighten a day and animals can bring comfort, I hope my work can do the same.
